Rock Paper Scissors

I finally got around to visiting this gem of a vintage store today.  Rock Paper Scissors in Bree street, is full of wonderful vintage treasures.  Jodi Meiring sources clothing, accessories, toys, ceramics and lots of other little bits and pieces form all over.  The shop is beautifully put together.  The vintage display cases make everything inside seem so much more precious.  

I was also very taken with the cute owls, bunnies and cushions, all made from old dresses that haven't sold.  I love this kind of upcycling.

If you like scarves as much as I do, check out their overwhelming assortment of printed silk scarves.  I couldn't leave without one.

The location, at 120 Bree street, makes it a bit of a destination shop, so make the effort, it's totally worth it, and while you're there why not have a cold one at &Union.  There is also something very exciting happening just across the road - rumour has it you'll soon see a very cool eatery there.
